Meet Dr. Ashley Latchman
Background and Journey into Chiropractic
I’m Dr. Ashley, and I am excited to announce that I will be joining the team at True North Chiropractic starting in the beginning of September. I hold a Bachelor of Science in Biology from the University at Albany and recently graduated with my Doctor of Chiropractic degree from Palmer College of Chiropractic Florida in March of 2024.
Originally from Queens, New York, I come from a large and diverse family with Guyanese, Trinidadian, and Brazilian roots. Growing up in such a vibrant and multicultural environment has instilled in me a deep appreciation for diversity and a strong sense of community.
Personal Interests and Passion for Pediatric Care
In my free time, I enjoy a variety of hobbies and am always up for trying something new. Whether it’s going to the beach, kayaking, hiking, working out, sampling new foods, or traveling, I’m always eager to explore and experience different things.
Interestingly, I had no exposure to chiropractic care growing up. My journey into chiropractic began when I was exploring alternatives to medical school, and I didn’t receive my first adjustment until my second or third week of chiropractic school!
My passion for pediatrics and prenatal care stems from my own large and growing family. Recently, three of my cousins gave birth around the same time, and it’s been wonderful to see their babies grow up. This personal connection fuels my dedication to providing exceptional care for families and children.
Excited to Join the True North Chiropractic Community
I look forward to contributing to the True North Chiropractic community and I am excited to meet and work with all of you!
